First Baptist has adopted an unreached people group from Thailand called the Isaan peoples. The Isaan live in the northeast portion of Thailand. Please join us in praying for God's will as First Baptist steps out in faith to see what God has in store for us.

Second, you can pray for the Thai people. Not sure what to pray? Here are a few suggestions?

Pray for God’s Spirit to work among the lost of Thailand: proclaiming, revealing and saving (Isaiah 43:6-12)

Pray for God to call out Christian workers from among the Thai believers (Matthew 9:38)

Pray for God to equip Thai believers to participate in starting a reproducing church planting movement (Colossians 1:9-12)

Most of all, pray for God to work His perfect will in our church. We have set a tentative date for our first trip to Thailand. It will be in July 2013 and we will be partnering with a local missionary to teach basketball to kids of various ages. We are really looking forward to this opportunity and covet your prayers.
